Direct Flight Theatre is Toronto-based independent theatre company dedicated to telling great stories. Our focus is on producing provocative contemporary plays and classical work with a contemporary lens. We are your passport to theatre that engages the mind, captivates the imagination, and provokes conversation.

• to re-introduce a new audience to provocative Canadian plays which have only been produced once and/or have not been produced in several years
• to produce re-imaginings of classical work that are accessible and contemporary
• to introduce Toronto audiences to new and provocative international plays
• to offer education and outreach programs for children and youth with an emphasis on building a new audience for theatre in Toronto
• to create opportunities for younger/emerging artists to work with more established artists, thereby fostering mentorship amongst the theatre community in Toronto
