Therac 25 by Adam Pettle

February 2010, Bread and Circus Theatre

Alan: What do you want to be when you grow up?
Moira: Alive.

Alan and Moira are young, and they are falling in love...in the corridors of the Princess Margaret Hospital, where they are both undergoing cancer treatment. Humourous and moving, Therac 25 is a love story unlike any other.

Direct Flight Theatre presented Adam Pettle’s courageous, honest play. Nominated at the Doras for Best New Play, Therac 25 is the first work of this exceptional Canadian playwright.

Therac 25 marked the beginning of Direct Flight Theatre.
